Storytelling creates brand loyalty

The Atlanta Braves moved to a new state of the art Field north of Atlanta. The new location was well thought out and designed to have fans enjoy the park in addition to a great baseball game. This was a comprehensive year long project of joy! Branded story telling for a global audience, for a client that you happen to be a huge fan…. our job leads us to the greatest clients!

The Braves management embraced this idea and tasked creative with several projects for fans to enjoy at Truist Field. John, Director of Graphic Design (also fan), was excited about delving into the Braves archive of photography and news clips to work with creating an amazing office space rich in history for the great Hank “ Hammerin Hank” Aaron! His office overlooked right field, his position. He is a legend, playing primarily for the Milwaukee Braves. 

The Atlanta Braves were not always an Atlanta based baseball team. Photography was chosen from the Braves vault of history to share the evolution of more than 100-year history for long time fans, stirring treasured memories for long time fans and a great Braves story for much younger fans to learn about where their dominant team got their start. These graphically designed (blank) are currently displayed as a branded, graphically designed timeline. 

Great projects of this scale and presence have a foundational sponsor. In this case, Truist Bank, new home of the Atlanta Braves and a park for interest of all fans locally and visitors alike. Truist bank, originally Trust Company (where a AWE! partner opened her first checking account at the age of 5) is a highly visible, national corporation, started in Louisville, GA. Partnering with well-known clients combines unlimited opportunities to reflect support, create buzz, and market as a union in both client’s market share.

In this case, branded calendars to build excitement, share the countdown to opening of Truist Park and soft opening events for special guests and fans. Skillfully marketed B2B unions can expand market share in a quick, strong movement with a profitable ripple effect for years to come. Effective and fun action images of key well known Braves players in a calendar to function in a series, beginning with the Braves move, to building excitement for first pitch and finally the soft opening for an exclusive group from each corporation. Truist branch locations received the series of calendars to display in each branch and share with their customers. The Braves were also able to distribute through their media channels.  The project was a success, sharing key information while building great excitement.
