Special-T

Strong brand presence reflects credibility

Companies strategically know how to build and expand their products and services successfully. Special-T is an example of one of those businesses. A crafted commercial table business made with high standards passed down from a gifted first-generation owner to his son, who was determined to capitalize on a foundation of quality and take care of the community. AWE! was tasked with creating a presence to equal Special-T’s goals as a global leader in quality tables with a social conscience. We spent time learning about their manufacturing and design process. Their extensive options in materials, styles, and nearly limitless solutions to choose the look that fits the space you spend most of your awake hours in a work week is amazing!

We started with a logo designed to share their products and name. Striking brand colors were chosen next and compiled into a style guide, which was then adopted as the new face of Special-T. We presented a strategic business plan to roll out a new brand and identity that would enhance the client’s market share, national, and global goals. We chose the prestigious NEOCON furniture shows in Chicago at the MART to kick off our new look. Over the next six months, we had Special-T’s new brand standards designed and produced for use on walls in their corporate showrooms, packaging, podcast studio, manufacturing crates, advertising pieces, truck wraps, digital channels, and their website. A little persuasion was required to convince the owner and leadership to host the kickoff party for the NEOCON furniture show. Concerns of worry, we are not big enough to host the opening night party. We recognized the benefits of a well-orchestrated event and understood that it would significantly enhance their expansion goals.

Global success was accomplished!
